WHO WE ARE
Our Story
We are aligned with Miletus Covenant Connection (MCC) under the covering and leadership of Bishop Roderick Mitchell of Cleveland, MS; who is Pastor Denson’s Spiritual Father and Covering in the ministry. MCC’s initial purpose is to provide spiritual covering, producing active and on-going communication among its apostles, prophets, evangelist, pastor’s, and teachers, assisting them to better serve their congregations or constituents and walk in integrity and truth. MCC purpose to bring each member into a deeper relationship and understanding of the work of the Holy Spirit through living the Spirit-filled life and preaching the full Gospel message. The Miletus Covenant Connection Fellowship of Christian churches and Ministries believes in the Bible, plus nothing else and abides by the following doctrine. This doctrine is not from man, nor is it man’s interpretation, but the doctrine of Jesus Christ found in Hebrews 6:1-2.
Community support is carried out by Bishop Denson and other leader who serve on numerous boards and steering committees throughout the local communities of the High Desert. We strongly advocate to the principle of giving back and fulfilling the mandate to serve and bless mankind according to James 2:15-2. Because of this foundational principle, many of our members have volunteered their time since the inception of our church to name a few: “Lord’s Table”, a program that fed the homeless-1996-2006 Good Samaritans-Granada Ministries, The Brothers of St. John of God-1996-2006 Adult computer lab program, Orphanage Nicaragua- 2012 Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets- 1996-2017 (Currently Calibration with VV. Rescue Mission) Weekly Food Pantry-Ongoing (Calibration VV. Rescue Mission) COVID Vaccine Program 2022 Current St. Mary’s Hospital of Apple Valley-Ongoing Orphanage Uganda-Ongoing, Our community outreach is an important part of our ministry and to date, we are either actively involved in or support directly or indirectly numerous ministries, organizations and programs throughout the city, county, region, nation and world.
After worshipping for approximately two years as the west Creek Elementary School, the Burning Bush Church finally held its inaugural Service in the new Burning Bush Church on March 9, 2008. The dedication service as performed by our presiding Bishop Roderick Mitchell, New Life Church, Cleveland, MS. In 2001 Dr. Denson received an Honorary Doctorate from Tuskegee Pentecostal School of Divinity 2010 he received a Master of Divinity from Exodus School of the Bible 2014 he received a Doctrine of Divinity from St. Thomas Christian University. On March 14, 2020, Dr. Denson was proven qualified and elevated to The Office of Bishop in an Episcopal Induction and Elevation Service by his Bishop Roderick Mitchell (New Life Church Inc Renova, MS).
