Burning Bush Text Logo.png

While on a ministry retreat, Pastor David Denson Jr., was given the vision to start a new church in the High Desert.  The name given for the church was Burning Bush Baptist Church which references the Burning Bush witnessed by Moses was in the desert.  The bush was on fire but not consumed by the flames.  The name describes Burning Bush Baptist Church, where the Holy Spirit of God is all-consuming.

In October of 1995, the first service was held in a local Taekwondo Shop on Seventh Street in Old Town Victorville.   Pastor Denson and the founding members were overjoyed with the 200 people that attended.  Three locations later, in 2008, a building was purchased and transformed into a beautiful house of worship.  Services are now held in a 32,000 square foot edifice and membership has grown to over 1000.  God has truly been good!  The Burning Bush Baptist Church is a spirit-filled church that is led, guided, directed by the Holy Spirit.  At the Bush, you are encouraged to find one place to study, one place to worship, and one place to serve.

Worship services include weekday Bible studies, Sunday School, Sunday Service, Youth Services as well as services streamed online.  The Bush has forged community partnerships that provide valuable resources and assistance to the High Desert Community.  One of those partnerships is with Rescue Mission which provides weekly food distribution.  The Bush is recognized as the church that loves L-o-d-d-y, D-o-d-d-y, and Every-B-O-D-D-Y.

The Burning Bush Baptist Church being Christ-Centered, Word Focused and Ministry Minded is committed to reach, win, teach and develop the body of Christ for the glory of Jesus Christ by;
